This checklist follows the patient from the hospital ward until the phase of anesthesia. The first chapter is completed by the staff of the hospital ward, the following chapters describe the verification in the operating theater before induction, the verification before incision and the sign-out procedure. At any time, if there is an inconvenience, the pre-operative procedure can be stopped for further investigation and control.
