- first therapeutic interventions,
- conducting observations and diagnostic procedures,
- conducting information and counseling activities and encouraging patients to treat addiction;
ensuring the safety of patients and patients in need of special care and protection; determination of therapeutic and rehabilitation indicators of post-hospital treatment; establishing contacts with patients or providing legal information to patients or guardians with the consent of the patient; to acquaint the patient with his rights and responsibilities during his stay;
conducting diagnostic tests on patients; provision of professional, integrated medical, nursing and therapeutic care at the optimal quantitative and qualitative level, depending on the patient’s state of health; providing the patient with medicines and sanitary facilities; provision of food in accordance with the state of health;
education to involve patients and their families in health-promoting behaviors; consideration of issues related to medical documentation and statistics; Collection of medical information on the implementation of the contract with the National Health Fund and other health care entities provided by the Department,
The patient’s stay in the ward and treatment lasts for a maximum of 10 days. In exceptional cases, depending on the general health of the patient and the duration of treatment may be extended. Direct coercion may be applied to a patient of the alcohol withdrawal treatment unit, who has committed acts against his own life or the health, life or health of others, public safety, or forcibly damaged or damaged nearby objects.
The doctor decides on the use of coercive coercion, he determines the type of coercive measure and personally monitors its implementation. Any case of application of coercion shall be recorded in the medical record. The method of direct coercion is specified in the decision of the governor on the method of direct coercion. The head of the department or a doctor authorized by him decides to expel the patient from the alcohol withdrawal department. The reasons for discharge are specified in the regulations on health benefits.
The patient can continue treatment in the department of drug therapy, anti-alcohol department or in existing clinics.
