The Hospital Management promotes a work comission to implement and to evaluate the results of the safety policy.

-Hand Higyene:
Informative/educational campaigns, specific training with little work groups. This specific education has to be done for the new professionals and for the students.
Promote the use of alcohol handrubs, dispensers available in every room

-Surgical Checklist:
An electronic checklist is required in order to continue to the next step, that is to say, the surgery and to complete the clinical history of the patient.


-Control of nosocomial infection
There is an expert nurse who works in the inpatient unit with the professionals, observing and assessing on the invasive techniques, isolation and hands higyene

-Active identification of patients – Ulcers Prevention – Fall Prevention
Every inpatient unit has a referent who is responsible to report any incident to the one of the three experts, depending of the issue: identificacion, ulcers or fall prevention.
The experts collect all the information and they make a report for future improvements.
