Aim and the benefit of the Patient Safety Practice

The Patient Safety Practice is aiming to improve the following fields:
-communication barriers between health care professionals and patients;
-standardisation of the health care system on national level;
- accessibility of the health care for all regions in the country;
- standardisation of the national guidelines for specific medical issues.
Description of the Patient Safety Practice

The Patient Safety Practice is precisely described throughout the continuous education of all medical professionals in the pediatric department in order to improve the health care system and the communication between the patients and the health care officers. With the implementation of all written guidelines for various pediatric issues and with vast medical experience we continuously try to improve our labour and patient contentment. Evaluation is being reviewed every six months by the Head of the pediatric department as well as by the Hospital board. Clinical and national guidelines are followed in order to achieve better quality of health care for our patients and to improve patient safety. The practice includes medical staff on the pediatric department, doctors and nurses.
